About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and security-focused Senior Smart Contract Auditor to join their elite team, operating remotely with a focus on projects originating from Nottingham . You will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of smart contracts and decentralized applications, protecting users and assets from vulnerabilities. This position demands exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of blockchain security best practices, and a proven ability to identify complex flaws in code. You will be a key contributor to building trust and safety within the Crypto & Blockchain ecosystem through rigorous auditing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth security audits of smart contracts across various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, BSC, Polygon).
• Identify vulnerabilities, bugs, and potential exploits in smart contract code, including reentrancy, integer overflows, and access control issues.
• Provide detailed reports with clear explanations of findings, risk assessments, and remediation recommendations.
• Develop and refine auditing methodologies, tools, and best practices for smart contract security.
• Collaborate with development teams to explain audit findings and assist in the remediation process.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging threats and vulnerabilities in the Crypto & Blockchain space.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on smart contract auditing and blockchain security.
• Demonstrated expertise in identifying security vulnerabilities in Solidity, Vyper, or other smart contract languages.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptography, and common attack vectors.
• Experience using static and dynamic analysis tools, fuzzing techniques, and formal verification methods.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and actionable audit reports.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, essential for a remote role serving the Nottingham and broader Crypto & Blockchain market.
