About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Smart Contract Developer to join their innovative team in Southampton . You will take the lead in designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure and efficient smart contracts for various blockchain applications. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology, smart contract languages, and security best practices. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers and architects, to build scalable and reliable decentralized solutions within the dynamic Crypto & Blockchain industry. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure and audited smart contracts on various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain).
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in languages like Solidity.
• Implement and test complex business logic within smart contracts, ensuring adherence to token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721).
• Conduct rigorous security analysis and code reviews to prevent vulnerabilities and exploits.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and product managers to integrate smart contracts into dApps and platforms.
• Optimize smart contract performance and gas usage for cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a significant focus on smart contract development.
• Expertise in Solidity and experience with development frameworks like Hardhat or Truffle.
• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, cryptography, and consensus mechanisms.
• Proven ability to write secure and gas-optimized smart contracts.
• Experience with security auditing tools and vulnerability assessment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team setting.
