About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and meticulous Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join their innovative team in Belfast . Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, secure, and efficient smart contracts primarily using Solidity .
• Perform rigorous security audits and code reviews of smart contracts to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with architects and developers to design the logic and architecture of decentralized applications.
• Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency for various blockchain platforms.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks to improve the smart contract development lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, best practices, and advancements in smart contract development.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Smart Contract Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of deployed contracts.
• Deep expertise in Solidity programming and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
• Solid understanding of blockchain principles, cryptography, and decentralized systems.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Truffle or Hardhat, and familiarity with security auditing practices.
• Knowledge of best practices for gas optimization and contract upgradability.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and security.
