Senior Smart Contract Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and security-conscious Senior Smart Contract Engineer to join their fully remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure and efficient smart contracts for various blockchain platforms. You will play a critical role in building decentralized applications (dApps) and contribute to the innovation within the rapidly evolving crypto and blockchain industry. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy secure and audited smart contracts on blockchains like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Polygon.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Solidity or Rust.
• Conduct rigorous security audits and vulnerability assessments of smart contract code.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define smart contract requirements and specifications.
• Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of decentralized applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in smart contract development , with a portfolio of deployed projects.
• Expertise in Solidity or other relevant smart contract programming languages.
• Strong understanding of blockchain principles, including consensus mechanisms, cryptography, and distributed ledger technology.
• Proficiency with blockchain development tools and frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle, Remix).
• Familiarity with security best practices for smart contracts and experience with formal verification methods.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills in a remote work environment.
