Location: Newport, Isle of Wight Council: Isle of Wight Council Contract: Temporary / Full-time

Tripod Partners are recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Children & Families service at Isle of Wight Council.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Children's Social Worker looking for their next challenge within a supportive local authority environment.

The Role

You will:

• Manage a complex caseload of children and families

• Complete statutory assessments

• Undertake child protection work

• Develop and review care plans

• Assess and manage risk

• Work directly with children, young people and families

• Attend meetings, reviews and other statutory processes

• Work collaboratively with partner agencies

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive case records

• Ensure children remain at the centre of decision-making

About You

You'll need:

• A recognised Social Work qualification

• Current Social Work England registration

• Strong Children's Social Work experience

• Previous Child Protection experience

• Experience managing complex cases

• Excellent assessment and analytical skills

• Strong communication and report-writing skills
