Senior Social Worker - Front Door / MASH Team - Ealing

Join our dedicated team as a Senior Social Worker in the Front Door / Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Ealing. We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be at the forefront of safeguarding, working collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to concerns regarding children’s welfare.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
• Leading and supervising a team of social workers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective case management.
• Collaborating with partner agencies to develop and implement safeguarding plans.
• Maintaining accurate and timely case records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Providing training and mentoring to junior staff and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Significant post-qualification experience in child protection and safeguarding.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to collaborative working.
