About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to join their dynamic team in London . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individual needs, developing and implementing tailored support plans.
• Manage a complex caseload, providing direct intervention and support to clients facing significant challenges.
• Supervise and mentor junior social workers, offering guidance and expertise on best practices.
• Liaise effectively with external agencies, including healthcare providers, educational institutions, and legal services, to ensure integrated client care.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new service initiatives and policies.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences, sharing insights and collaborating on problem-solving.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree or diploma (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
• Significant post-qualification experience in a social care setting, preferably with a focus on adult or children's services .
• Proven ability to manage complex cases and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and ethical considerations in social work practice.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and experience in mentoring others.
