About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to join their dynamic team in London . Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individual needs, developing and implementing tailored support plans.
- Manage a complex caseload, providing direct intervention and support to clients facing significant challenges.
- Supervise and mentor junior social workers, offering guidance and expertise on best practices.
- Liaise effectively with external agencies, including healthcare providers, educational institutions, and legal services, to ensure integrated client care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new service initiatives and policies.
- Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences, sharing insights and collaborating on problem-solving.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree or diploma (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Significant post-qualification experience in a social care setting, preferably with a focus on adult or children's services .
- Proven ability to manage complex cases and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and ethical considerations in social work practice.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and experience in mentoring others.
