Job Description
The Opportunity
The business is looking for an experienced software engineer with strong hands-on AI expertise to rapidly prototype and validate a new agentic architecture. Initially, you'll focus on designing multi-agent workflows, experimenting with orchestration frameworks, integrating large language models, and determining the technical feasibility of a longer-term product strategy. This is an opportunity to work on genuine greenfield engineering where you'll have significant influence over both the technical direction and future roadmap.

What They're Looking For
- Strong commercial software engineering background using Python
- Hands-on experience building production AI applications
- Experience with agentic workflows and multi-agent orchestration
- Experience working with modern LLMs including OpenAI or Anthropic
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals including testing, clean code and SDLC
- Experience building scalable backend services and APIs
- Ability to rapidly prototype, experiment and validate technical concepts
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with senior technical stakeholders
Experience with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, knowledge graphs or modern AI orchestration frameworks would be advantageous but isn't essential.
