Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer specializing in Cloud Infrastructure to join their fully remote engineering team. You will be at the forefront of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems that underpin our client's cutting-edge products. This role requires deep expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure using best practices (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment and operational tasks.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud environments.
• Collaborate with software development teams to troubleshoot performance issues and ensure infrastructure meets application needs.
• Contribute to security best practices and ensure compliance within the cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud infrastructure and DevOps.
• Strong proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and system administration.
