Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to focus on Cloud Infrastructure within their dynamic technology division in Portsmouth . This role is critical for building, scaling, and maintaining the robust cloud platforms that support their core products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design resilient and cost-effective cloud solutions, drive automation initiatives, and ensure the highest standards of performance and security for their digital operations in Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management processes for cloud services.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
