You will work with large datasets, designing and implementing efficient data solutions that ensure data quality, availability, and accessibility. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.
- Develop and optimize data warehousing solutions and data lake architectures.
- Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across various data sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver necessary data sets.
- Develop and deploy data solutions using big data technologies and cloud platforms.
- Write efficient, well-tested, and maintainable code in languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, S3).
- Experience with data modeling and schema design.
