Senior Software Engineer - Fintech

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using languages like Python, Java, or Go.
• Develop and optimize database solutions, ensuring data integrity and performance for financial transactions.
• Implement and advocate for best practices in software development, including test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technology selection for future projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and experience with microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively in a remote , collaborative setting.
