About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer with full-stack capabilities to join their innovative technology team in Cambridge . This role will involve designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable software solutions across both frontend and backend systems. You will play a key role in architectural decisions, code quality, and mentoring junior engineers. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality software.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on full-stack development.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js) and associated frameworks.
- Strong experience with frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and designing database schemas.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
