Senior Software Engineer - Microservices

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy resilient and scalable microservices using modern languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, Node.js).
• Define and implement robust APIs (RESTful, gRPC) for inter-service communication.
• Implement strategies for service discovery, load balancing, and fault tolerance within a distributed system.
• Work with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to define service requirements and architectural patterns.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on distributed systems and microservices.
• Proficiency in developing microservices using languages like Java, Go, or Node.js.
• Solid understanding of microservices design patterns, API gateways, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
