Our client is looking for an accomplished Senior Software Engineer to join their innovative technology team in Wolverhampton . Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems.
- Lead architectural design discussions and contribute to technical strategy.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues in a timely manner.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development .
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Go).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
