About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Sound Designer to join their bustling post-production studio in Liverpool . You will be responsible for crafting immersive and compelling soundscapes for feature films, contributing significantly to the storytelling and emotional impact of visual media. This role involves working closely with directors, editors, and other post-production professionals to bring creative visions to life through innovative sound design, foley, ADR, and mixing, ensuring the highest standards of audio quality and artistic expression in a collaborative and deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and implement original sound effects, ambiences, and musical elements for film projects.
• Collaborate with directors and editors to understand the desired sonic aesthetic and narrative goals for each film.
• Record, edit, and mix dialogue, sound effects, and music to create a cohesive and immersive soundtrack.
• Oversee the technical aspects of sound recording and mixing, ensuring high-quality output.
• Manage sound post-production schedules and budgets effectively.
• Stay current with advancements in audio technology and sound design techniques.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in film sound design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Cubase.
• Deep understanding of acoustics, audio signal processing, and mixing techniques.
• Experience in recording, editing, and mixing dialogue, Foley, and sound effects.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
