Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize processes for the synthesis and manufacturing of specialty chemical products.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot trials to assess process feasibility and optimize parameters.
• Manage the scale-up of processes from laboratory to commercial production, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements for quality and yield enhancement.
• Collaborate with R&D, sales, and production teams to meet customer needs and market demands.
• Ensure processes comply with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• 7+ years of experience in process development and scale-up within the specialty chemicals sector.
• Proven expertise in reaction engineering, formulation, and manufacturing of fine or specialty chemicals.
• Hands-on experience with process simulation and laboratory/pilot plant equipment.
• Strong understanding of analytical techniques and quality control methods.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
