Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive stress analysis and structural integrity assessments using FEA software.
- Develop and validate complex Finite Element Models for static and dynamic loading conditions.
- Interpret simulation results and provide clear, actionable recommendations to design engineers.
- Define testing requirements and methodologies to validate analytical predictions.
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize structures for strength, stiffness, and weight.
- Mentor junior stress engineers and contribute to the development of best practices.
Requirements
- Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in structural analysis.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in stress analysis and FEA .
- Expert proficiency in FEA software packages (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN).
- Strong understanding of material mechanics, failure theories, and fatigue analysis.
- Experience with structural dynamics and vibration analysis is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
