About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join their innovative team, focusing on diverse building and infrastructure projects across the UK from their Leeds hub. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process for a variety of building and infrastructure projects, from concept to completion.
• Perform complex structural analysis and calculations using advanced software and engineering principles.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Oversee the construction phase, providing technical support, site inspections, and ensuring adherence to design intent.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, clients, contractors, and other consultants to achieve project goals.
• Mentor and develop a team of structural engineers and technicians, fostering technical growth and high-quality output.

Requirements

• A degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• Professional Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, ideally with ICE or IStructE.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design and project management.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000, and AutoCAD .
• Strong knowledge of British Standards, Eurocodes, and building regulations related to structures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
