Our client, a leading consultancy in London, England, UK , is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design and analysis for a variety of building and infrastructure projects using industry-standard software.
- Develop detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with relevant British Standards and Eurocodes.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and client expectations, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and resolve design issues.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Mentor and guide junior engineering staff, fostering their technical and professional development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
- Minimum of 7 years' post-graduate experience in structural engineering design and project management.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro.
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, codes of practice, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
