Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design, analysis, and detailing of various building and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare comprehensive design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and provide engineering support during construction phases.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage project timelines and resources, ensuring client requirements are met efficiently.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their technical development and professional growth.
Requirements
- Degree in Structural Engineering or a closely related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with IStructE or ICE.
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in structural engineering design.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Robot) and AutoCAD.
- Deep understanding of UK building codes, standards, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
