Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process for a variety of building types and infrastructure, ensuring technical excellence.
• Perform complex structural analysis and calculations using advanced software tools.
• Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and tender documents for structural works.
• Provide expert technical advice and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
• Manage structural project phases, coordinating with architects, contractors, and other consultants.
• Conduct structural assessments and site inspections when required, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer status (e.g., CEng MICE, MIStructE) or equivalent.
• A minimum of 7 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering design.
• Demonstrated proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of UK structural design codes and standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead design teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts in a remote setting.
