Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process for a diverse portfolio of building projects, including commercial, residential, and public sectors.
• Undertake complex structural analysis and design calculations for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
• Produce high-quality structural drawings, specifications, and design reports using advanced software tools.
• Coordinate effectively with architects, contractors, and other consultants to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during the construction phase to resolve any structural issues.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Requirements

• Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural specialization.
• A minimum of 6 years' experience in structural engineering design, with a strong portfolio of building projects.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership with IStructE or ICE.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Robot) and BIM platforms (e.g., Revit Structure).
• Excellent understanding of UK building regulations, British Standards, and Eurocodes.
