Senior Subsea Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Subsea Engineer to join their remote engineering team, contributing to exciting projects in the Oil & Gas industry . This role involves the design, analysis, and implementation of subsea production systems, ensuring their integrity, reliability, and optimal performance. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex subsea developments from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and specify subsea production equipment , including trees, manifolds, and umbilical systems.
• Perform stress analysis, fatigue analysis, and integrity assessments for subsea components.
• Develop installation procedures and oversee subsea operations support.
• Collaborate with project management, drilling, and facilities teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and company specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on subsea projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in subsea engineering within the Oil & Gas sector .
• Strong knowledge of subsea systems, components, and interfaces.
• Proficiency in subsea design software and analysis tools (e.g., ANSYS, OrcaFlex).
• Experience with relevant industry standards (e.g., API, ISO).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, or a related discipline.
