About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Subsea Engineer to join their globally distributed, remote-first engineering team, supporting projects and operations worldwide. This role is central to the design, installation, and maintenance of subsea production systems. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to solve complex challenges related to subsea equipment, pipelines, and umbilicals, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of offshore operations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and specification of subsea production systems, including trees, manifolds, and controls.
- Develop and review subsea installation procedures and contingency plans.
- Provide technical support for subsea operations, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct structural and hydrodynamic analyses for subsea components and structures.
- Manage interfaces between subsea equipment and topside facilities.
- Stay current with subsea technology advancements and recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Naval Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in subsea engineering, with a strong focus on offshore production systems.
- In-depth knowledge of subsea equipment, materials, and installation methods.
- Experience with subsea analysis tools and software (e.g., OrcaFlex, FEA).
- Proven ability to manage complex subsea projects and deliver technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and remote team leadership skills.
