Senior Subsea Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and specify subsea hardware, including christmas trees, manifolds, pipelines, and umbilical systems.
• Perform structural and hydrodynamic analysis of subsea equipment and risers.
• Develop installation procedures and support offshore operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., DNV, API).
• Manage subsea engineering projects, including budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Liaise with clients, fabricators, and installation contractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in subsea engineering, preferably within the offshore oil and gas industry.
• Proven expertise in subsea equipment design, analysis, and installation.
• Strong understanding of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, and pipeline engineering.
• Experience with relevant software packages (e.g., OrcaFlex, ANSYS, Abaqus).
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical teams.
