At Cygnet Group , we're seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Support Worker (Days) to join our team at The Squirrels .

Working 42 hours per week on day shifts only , you'll play a key role in leading high-quality care, supporting your colleagues, and helping the people we care for live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

The Squirrels

is a specialist residential service for adults with autism and learning disabilities, who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care, promoting independence and community integration.

Residents We Support:

• Adults from the age of 18 years
• Individuals with a diagnosis of autism & learning disability
• May present with behaviours that challenge
• May have communication challenges
• May have associated complex needs
• Are subjected to DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) or Care Orders

Your day-to-day...

• Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
• Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
• Safeguard
• Maintain a safe & clean environment for all
