About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to join their dedicated team in Bradford . In this hands-on role, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with diverse needs, while also offering guidance and mentorship to junior members of the support staff. You will play a key part in developing and implementing individual care plans, ensuring that all clients receive compassionate, person-centred support that promotes their independence and well-being. This is an essential role within a local community setting, requiring a strong commitment to quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in accordance with their care plans.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including medication, personal hygiene, and mobility.
- Mentor and guide junior support workers, sharing best practices and providing on-the-job training.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of client care plans.
- Observe and report any changes in a client's condition or circumstances to the appropriate manager.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and client progress.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Support Worker , with demonstrable experience in a senior or mentoring capacity.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding vulnerable adults and child protection procedures.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently.
- A genuine desire to provide compassionate and high-quality care in the Bradford area.
