About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join their remote-first team, serving individuals within the Aberdeen area and surrounding communities. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of support workers, providing guidance and supervision remotely.
• Develop, implement, and review personalized care and support plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular remote assessments of client needs and progress, adjusting support strategies as required.
• Ensure all care provided adheres to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance, maintaining detailed digital records.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between clients, support staff, and relevant external agencies through virtual platforms.
• Respond to emergencies and critical incidents remotely, providing immediate guidance and support to on-site staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior role within community care or social support services.
• A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, such as NVQ Level 3 or above.
• Excellent understanding of safeguarding principles and person-centred care planning.
• Strong digital literacy, with experience using remote communication and care management software.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, adaptable to a remote working environment.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a remote caseload effectively.
