About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their expanding team, operating on a fully remote basis. This critical role will oversee all aspects of corporate tax compliance and advisory services for the organisation. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns, managing tax liabilities, and providing strategic tax planning advice to minimise risk and maximise efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file all corporate tax returns accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
- Manage tax audits and investigations, liaising effectively with HMRC and other tax authorities.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimise the company's tax position.
- Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and communicate their impact to senior management.
Requirements
- Qualified CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent, with a strong background in corporate tax.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a senior tax role, either in practice or industry.
- In-depth knowledge of UK corporation tax, VAT, and international tax principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research complex tax issues.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, suitable for remote interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
