About the Role

You will play a key part in developing and maintaining art pipelines, tools, and workflows, empowering the art team to create stunning visuals. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain art pipelines, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and quality for the art team.
• Collaborate with engineers and artists to troubleshoot and resolve technical art issues, ensuring seamless integration of assets.
• Create and implement shaders, materials, and lighting solutions that meet artistic and technical requirements.
• Profile and optimize game assets and systems for performance across target platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other artists, fostering best practices in asset creation and integration.
• Research and implement new technologies and techniques to enhance the art creation process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Artist in the game development industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing pipeline development and optimization work.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, MEL) and experience with DCC (Digital Content Creation) software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Blender.
• Strong understanding of game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) and their technical art features.
• Expertise in shader development, material creation, and lighting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
