About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Telecom Solutions Architect to drive the technical direction of their telecommunications projects in Coventry, West Midlands . This critical role involves designing cutting-edge network solutions that meet complex business requirements and anticipate future technological trends. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and product management teams to translate client needs into robust, scalable, and cost-effective network architectures. The successful candidate will be a thought leader, capable of shaping strategic technology decisions and ensuring our client remains at the forefront of the telecom industry, contributing to significant infrastructure advancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of complex telecom solutions, encompassing voice, data, and mobile networks.
• Develop technical proposals and presentations for potential clients, clearly articulating the value proposition of proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of designed solutions.
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and proof-of-concept projects for new technologies and services.
• Stay abreast of emerging telecom technologies, standards, and market trends, providing strategic insights.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and architects within the organization.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in telecommunications, with a strong focus on network architecture and design.
• Deep understanding of core network technologies such as 5G, LTE, IP networking, SDN, and NFV.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end telecom solutions for enterprise and service provider clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent extensive industry experience.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerization technologies is a plus.
