About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Telecoms Network Architect to lead the design and evolution of their advanced network infrastructure. This is a pivotal role within a fully remote team, focused on shaping the future of our client's telecommunications services. You will be responsible for defining the overall architecture, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security across all network domains. This position requires a deep understanding of cutting-edge technologies and the ability to architect robust, future-proof solutions that meet evolving business and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document the overall telecom network architecture , including core, access, and transport layers.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and solutions to meet future network requirements for 5G, IoT, and cloud services.
• Develop architectural principles, standards, and best practices for network design and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineering and operations teams.
• Conduct proof-of-concept initiatives for new technologies and solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units to align network strategy with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in telecom network design and architecture , with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Expertise in various network technologies, including SDN/NFV, cloud networking, IP routing protocols, and transport networks.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices for large-scale networks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and influence decision-making in a remote setting.
