About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Telecoms Network Architect to lead the design and evolution of their network infrastructure, operating in a fully remote capacity. This is a senior role responsible for defining the technical vision and roadmap for our company's network services. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall network architecture strategy and roadmap for the company.
• Design high-level network solutions for complex projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in networking and telecoms , recommending their adoption where appropriate.
• Lead the technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance to engineering and operations teams.
• Define network standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, with a significant focus on the telecoms industry .
• Expert knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols, MPLS, SDN, NFV, and cloud networking.
• Proven experience in designing large-scale, complex network infrastructures.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing technical and business stakeholders remotely.
