About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Telecoms Network Architect to lead the design and evolution of their network infrastructure, operating in a fully remote capacity. This is a senior role responsible for defining the technical vision and roadmap for our company's network services. You will be instrumental in developing robust, scalable, and secure network architectures that support current and future business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of modern networking principles and a passion for innovation within the dynamic telecoms sector, contributing from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the overall network architecture strategy and roadmap for the company.
- Design high-level network solutions for complex projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in networking and telecoms , recommending their adoption where appropriate.
- Lead the technical design reviews and provide architectural guidance to engineering and operations teams.
- Define network standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture, with a significant focus on the telecoms industry .
- Expert knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols, MPLS, SDN, NFV, and cloud networking.
- Proven experience in designing large-scale, complex network infrastructures.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing technical and business stakeholders remotely.
