Senior Telecoms Network Architect

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate comprehensive architectural roadmaps for the evolution of the company's telecoms network .
• Lead the design of complex, high-availability network solutions incorporating technologies like SDN, NFV, and cloud-native principles.
• Evaluate and recommend new hardware, software, and service offerings to enhance network capabilities.
• Define and enforce network architecture standards, best practices, and security policies across the organization.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure architectural alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct technical reviews, feasibility studies, and performance assessments for significant network initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5 years in a dedicated network architecture role.
• Extensive knowledge of IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, and transport technologies.
• Proven experience with Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), and cloud networking concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
