Senior Telecoms Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable telecommunications networks , including core and access layers.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Develop and document network configurations, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new services and technologies into the existing network infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the remote team.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecoms network engineering , with a strong understanding of IP networking, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), and MPLS.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware from leading vendors and network management tools.
• Proficiency in network security principles and implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a remote work setting.
• Experience with cloud networking technologies is a plus.
