Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage complex telecommunications networks, including routing, switching, and security protocols.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and configuration guides.
• Stay abreast of emerging telecoms technologies and industry best practices to recommend and implement improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecoms network engineering .
• Proficiency with network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLANs.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
