Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy robust and scalable telecoms network solutions, including routing, switching, and security protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and support, to ensure seamless network integration and performance monitoring.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and vendor solutions to enhance network capabilities and efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the remote team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in telecoms network engineering, with a focus on IP networking.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise-grade networking hardware.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and network security principles.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work independently.
