Senior Telecoms Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage complex telecom networks, including routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to service availability and performance.
• Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades and migrations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and configuration guides.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team to foster continuous improvement and skill development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in telecom network engineering .
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF , MPLS, and other routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and packet analysis .
• Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and virtualized network functions is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
