Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage complex telecom network architectures, including core, access, and transport layers.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure optimal uptime and service quality.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new services and technologies into the existing network infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Telecoms Network Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
- Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper) and network management tools.
- Familiarity with VoIP , mobile network technologies (LTE, 5G), and fibre optic networks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
