Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Telecoms Network Planner to join their forward-thinking team. This role will be fully remote, allowing you to contribute to strategic network development from anywhere. You will be responsible for the long-term planning and capacity management of our extensive telecoms network, ensuring it meets future demands and technological advancements. Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic long-term capacity plans for the telecoms network , forecasting future needs.
- Analyze network traffic data and performance metrics to identify growth areas and potential bottlenecks.
- Design network expansion and upgrade strategies, considering new technologies and services.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure plans are feasible and aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on network planning initiatives for senior management.
- Evaluate vendor solutions and new technologies for potential integration into the network plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network planning or design within the telecoms sector.
- In-depth knowledge of network architecture, capacity planning principles, and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with network simulation and modeling tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, essential for remote collaboration.
