Senior Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Telecoms Project Manager to oversee critical projects within their rapidly expanding telecommunications division based in Milton Keynes . This role is essential for driving the successful delivery of complex network deployments, technology upgrades, and new service implementations. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers a chance to lead significant initiatives and contribute to the strategic growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of telecommunications projects, from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external contractors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
• Oversee the quality assurance and acceptance testing phases to guarantee project deliverables meet requirements.

Requirements

• Proven track record (5+ years) as a Project Manager , specifically within the telecoms or technology sector.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications network technologies and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
