Senior Telecoms Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Telecoms Project Manager to lead critical projects from their Wolverhampton, West Midlands office, utilising a hybrid working model. This role demands strong leadership skills to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex telecommunications infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for managing budgets, timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of telecoms projects , from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, technicians, and external contractors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation and with external partners.
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Project Manager in the telecoms sector, managing projects of significant scale and complexity.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, infrastructure, and deployment methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management software and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
• Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner) is highly desirable.
