About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecoms Security Analyst to safeguard their telecommunications network and systems in Norwich, Norfolk . In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, developing security strategies, and responding to security incidents. You will work proactively to protect sensitive data and ensure the integrity of our communication infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches and suspicious activities.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on telecommunications infrastructure.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
• Stay abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
• Collaborate with network engineering teams to ensure security is integrated into network design and operations.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Telecoms Security Analyst or in a similar cybersecurity role.
• In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and SIEM systems.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications protocols and their security implications.
• Experience with security incident response and digital forensics.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA Security) are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
