Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to join their strategic team, working primarily remotely but with occasional travel to Southampton . You will be responsible for designing cutting-edge telecommunications solutions that meet complex business requirements and drive technological advancement. This role demands a deep understanding of network technologies, cloud architecture, and enterprise systems, coupled with the ability to translate business needs into scalable and robust technical blueprints. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our client's network infrastructure and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end telecoms solutions , encompassing network, compute, storage, and security elements.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to understand customer needs and define technical strategies.
• Develop technical proposals, architectural diagrams, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance service capabilities and efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-effective.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar pre-sales technical role within the telecoms industry.
• In-depth knowledge of network architectures, protocols, and emerging technologies (e.g., 5G, SDN/NFV, Cloud Native).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualisation technologies.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
