About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to design and deliver innovative telecommunications solutions from Southampton . This role requires a deep understanding of current and emerging telecom technologies, coupled with the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and cost-effective technical architectures. You will work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to shape the future of our client's offerings. This is a key position for an experienced architect looking to make a significant impact in the rapidly evolving telecoms market .

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end telecommunications solutions, encompassing network, systems, and service layers.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and develop compelling technical proposals.
• Create detailed architectural designs, diagrams, and documentation for solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance service offerings.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from design to implementation.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect or Senior Network Designer within the telecommunications industry.
• Deep knowledge of various telecom technologies, including 5G, LTE, fibre optics, and cloud-based networking.
• Proficiency in network design tools and methodologies.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in pre-sales support and solution conceptualization.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote capacity, with occasional travel to Southampton if required.
