About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to join their expanding technology division in Wolverhampton . This strategic role involves designing end-to-end telecommunications solutions that meet complex business requirements and leverage cutting-edge technologies. You will work closely with sales, engineering, and product management teams to develop compelling proposals and technical designs for clients. The ideal candidate possesses a deep technical understanding of telecommunications systems and a passion for creating scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive telecommunications solutions, encompassing network infrastructure, services, and applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and vendor solutions to meet project objectives.
• Develop detailed architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from design to implementation.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure solutions remain state-of-the-art.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in telecoms solution design or architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of core network technologies, including IP, MPLS, LTE, 5G, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven experience in designing complex enterprise or service provider solutions.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualization, and cybersecurity principles.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, vendor-specific advanced certs) are highly desirable.
