About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive telecoms solutions , including network architecture, service offerings, and integration strategies.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
• Develop detailed technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Evaluate and recommend new telecoms technologies and platforms to enhance service capabilities and competitive advantage.
• Work with engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of designed solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineering staff within the Cardiff office.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a Telecoms Solutions Architect or similar technical design role.
• Deep understanding of modern network technologies, including 5G, SDN, NFV, cloud networking, and IP telephony.
• Proven ability to translate complex business needs into practical and scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with service provider networks and enterprise telecommunications infrastructure is essential.
• Relevant certifications in networking, cloud, or virtualization technologies are a plus.
