Senior Transport Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of transport assessments, traffic impact studies, and travel plans for a variety of development projects.
• Design road layouts, junction improvements, traffic management schemes, and public transport infrastructure .
• Utilise specialist software such as Junctions 9, ARCADY, PICADY, and AutoCAD for traffic modelling and design.
• Manage project delivery, including scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring high-quality outputs and client satisfaction.
• Liaise effectively with local authorities, stakeholders, and project teams to achieve optimal transport solutions.
• Mentor junior transport engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices and emerging trends in the field.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transport planning and engineering.
• Proficiency in relevant transport modelling software and CAD applications .
• Strong understanding of UK transport policy, planning legislation, and highway design standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in managing projects and leading technical teams is highly desirable.
