Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of traffic management schemes, road improvements, and public transport infrastructure.
• Conduct traffic modeling and analysis to assess network capacity, safety, and environmental impacts.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and reports for transportation projects.
• Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project completion.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, statutory undertakers, and the public to deliver projects effectively.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior transportation engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in transportation engineering and project delivery.
• Experience with traffic modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, ARCADY, PICADY) and design tools.
• Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, road safety standards, and sustainable transport initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage projects and lead technical teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, essential for working in Sheffield .
